(Enid, OK) Enid’s public pool to open after Memorial Day, according to city officials on Wednesday.
The city Parks and Recreation staff is expecting the pool to be open on Tuesday June 1st.
City Manager Jerald Gilbert has previously said the pool would operate at normal capacity with normal hours this year.
The pool was filled with half a million gallons of water Wednesday with the staff adding water-balancing chemicals. Lifeguards will be re-certified in the coming days and a fresh coat of paint would be applied to the kiddie pool.
Concessions will also be moved to the center of the Champlin building.
