Earlier this week, Britney Spears’ personal conservator, Jodi Montgomery, asked for 24/7 security, because of constant death threats.

Now, Britney’s father, Jamie Spears has responded by filing an objection.

According to TMZ, Jamie's reaction was basically … welcome to the club.

In the documents, Jamie Spears says he's been getting threats for years, as has Britney's attorney, and others connected to the conservatorship. He says the court should evaluate how much security is necessary to keep Jodi and others involved safe.

Montgomery herself estimated her security would cost $50k per month and Jamie Spears says the estate can’t afford that.

According to the documents, Jamie suggests Jodi should consider other security measures … such as calling the local Sheriff's department — something Jodi herself says she's already done.

The final say will be left up to a judge to decide.
