Honestly it just feels good to rank things again. With college football, there’s little room to think outside the box at the beginning of the season. We’ve seen time and time again the same 15-or-so teams worthy of NY6 bowls, and the same 5-6 teams worthy of CFP hype.
But the NFL? Parody is the name of the game. Unless of course you consider Tom Brady’s destruction of the league’s structure in place to enforce parody. That allows me to make claims, especially only after week one, that do not have to be backed up by overwhelming fact.
I do feel that, apart from the top 3, the rest of the top 10 is ridiculously fluid. Teams ranked 4-10 would all make for great, highly contested matchups.
