Avril Lavigne Praises Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus, Calls Collaboration ‘An Honor’

Avril Lavigne says collaborating with Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus was a “huge honor”. They teamed up on her track “All I Wanted,” which is featured on her next album, Love Sux.

She recently appeared on his Apple Music Hits show and told Hoppus he was one of her favorite artists. She named off Blink’s albums, Dude Ranch and Enema of The State, as the ones she listened to in high school.

She said to him on-air: “I feel like they were really impactful on me as I was coming into my own musical identity.”

Hoppus recorded his track for Lavigne’s album while she watched over Zoom. Look for it to be released on February 25.
