At last night’s City Council meeting, two Enid Police Officers received the employee of the month award. The two officers who received the award are officers Nick John and Casey Von Schriltz.
They were nominated by and presented the award by Capt. Scott Miller for their efforts in assisting the family of Officer Bart Arnold after his passing due to Covid complications.
John and Von Schriltz helped gain the assistance of numerous law enforcement agencies to organize the funeral. They also comforted Arnold’s widow in her time of need and made sure that the funeral was to her liking.
After receiving the award the officers made it clear that they don’t do their job for recognition accolades.
