City of Enid Receives 3 million Dollars in Grant funding from Federal Government for CDBG Grant Allocation

The City of Enid will receive 3 million dollars in grant money from the federal government due to the CARES act. Signed into law by President Donald Trump on March 27th, 2020, the CARES act.

This law allocates money to the Department of Housing and Urban Development which then distributes the money to different Cities that apply.

Enid applied to the program to get funding for its Community Development Block Grant funds. Enid will distribute the grant money to nonprofit organizations that operate within the City of Enid that operate within a low or moderate-income area.
