Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will be making up for last time with what will amount to a massive 2023 global trek. "The Boss" appeared on Sirius XM and mapped out how the tour will play out, explaining the band will rehearse in January — tour North America from February to April, hit Europe for an extended stadium run, return to our side of the pond for a string of stadium shows, then head Down Under — before coming "back around again" to the States.

When reminded that the E Street Band has been sidelined since 2017, Springsteen admitted he was still coming to terms with the layoff: ["It's kind of mind-boggling to be honest with you. I mean, it doesn't feel that long — we stayed busy over that time, but still, I've got the jones to play live very badly at this point, so I'm deeply looking forward to getting out there in front of our fans. Y'know, I'm just aching to play, y'know? And actually, not just play, but to travel and see our fans in all our different cities and feel that life again and see their faces again. And we've got an old school tour planned where we'll be out there for quite a while and give everybody a chance to see us."] SOUNDCUE (:32 OC: . . . to see us)

So far, on the E Street Band's European dates have been rolled out. There's been no word when the North American shows will be announced.
