The Enid Police Department is set to take on the Enid Fire Department in an annual softball game known as the Guns N’ Hoses Softball Game. The game will be played tonight at David Allen Memorial Ballpark at 8:00 pm. For the 1st time ever the game is also set to be broadcasted on 107.1 KNID.

Admission to the game will be free and hotdog vouchers for free hotdogs will be provided by Stanley’s Wrecker Service. The game is expected to be a competitive one this year, while the Enid Fire Department usually has the upper hand in athletic competitions, Enid Police narrowly defeated them during the 1st Responder’s Softball Tournament.

Enid Fire Chief Jason Currier in an interview with Enidlive spoke about how competition between the 2 departments helps foster teamwork between the departments.
