Enid Fire Puts out Structure Fire Caused by Sparks from Metal Cutting

Sometime around 12:30 pm, the Enid Fire Department went to put out a structure fire at South 2nd St. Smoke from the fire could be seen from the north side of town, however, the fire was still put out relatively quickly by the Enid Fire Department.

The structure was used as a storage facility, and also housed an old Chevy car, the blaze was started when metal bars behind the structure were being cut which caused sparks to fly out. Witnesses say that the sparks found something flammable under the door of the building leading to the entire structure going up in flames.

As for the Chevy, it appeared to sustain heavy damage from the fire.
