Jane’s Addiction Reunites With Original Bass Player Eric Avery

After more than a decade apart, Jane's Addiction's founding bass player, Eric Avery, seems to have reunited with the band. There are pictures and video of Avery playing with Perry Farrell on both Eric's and Jane's Addiction's social media accounts. The caption on Avery's post is simply, "It's on!"

The band, apparently along with Avery, will kick off their 32-date Spirits on Fire Tour with Smashing Pumpkins on October 2nd in Dallas.

Avery and Farrell created Jane's Addiction in 1985 but went separate way in the early 90s. For the past 20 years, Chris Chaney has largely been the band's bass player.
