John Lennon’s Assassin Up for Parole for the 12th Time

Mark David Chapman, the man who please guilty to the murder of former Beatle John Lennon in December of 1980, is scheduled for a parole hearing within the next week. Chapman, who is now 67 years old, is being held at Wende Correctional Facility in Alden, New York. Originally from Hawaii, he has been denied parole every two years since the year 2000, for a total of 11 denials–the last of which was in August of 2020. (https://bit.ly/3TMnGYW)
