BLACKPINK has been named TIME magazine’s Entertainer of the Year. Over the last 12 months, the all-girl group made their U.S. awards show debut on MTV, embarked on a world tour and released their sophomore album, Born Pink.

Member Jennie commented: “We put in a lot of work so we could look like superwomen. We’re very normal girls, at the end of the day.”

Collectively the K-pop group is from Australia, Thailand, South Korea, and New Zealand. Member, Rosé says that helps with their creativity calling their differences, “only a plus.”
