Enid City Marshall Offers Clarification on Hen Ordinance

On Monday, March 13th the Enid City Marshall offered clarification in regard to the recent chicken ordinance that allows certain citizens to own up to 6 hens if they meet the right qualifications. Those wanting to legally own hens within city limits must live in an agricultural zone or have a waiver.

The fine for owning chickens in a nonagricultural zone is up to 260$ while the fine for having a rooster is 560$.
