Skid Row has been announced as opening act for KISS during their European tour during June and July. They’ll make stops in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, and Germany.

The New Jersey rockers go back a long way with KISS, including a dispute over whether to tour with the New York icons, which is said to have played a part in the departure of singer Sebastian Bach in 1996.

In 2000, Skid Row played the first KISS farewell tour and bassist Rachel Bolan told Blabbermouth that, at the time, he didn’t believe they would actually stop touring. He said, “I have a feeling, as long as they can keep doing it… Maybe it'll take a break, maybe it'll be a decent hiatus, but I have a feeling we're not gonna see the last of KISS.”

Last fall, Skid Row recorded a live album in London and plan to release it sometime this year.
