Saturday is the final day for you to enjoy the work of Oklahoma artist John Hammer. His three completely different themes, Tattered Aesthetics, Peculiar Portraits, and Stop: 50 Ways to a Better World, show off Hammer’s character as an artist.
History Alive! happens the first and third Saturdays of each month, as re-enactment characters portray life as it was at the time of the Cherokee Strip Land Run of 1893. Saturday’s History Alive! runs 11 am-3 pm.
The Heritage Center is open 10 am-5 pm Tuesday-Saturday. The regular museum admission price gets you in to see both of these unique presentations.
