Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center to host “Discover Greatness: An Illustrated History of Negro Leagues Baseball”

“Discover Greatness: an Illustrated History of Negro Leagues Baseball” is a new interactive exhibit set to be hosted at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center.

Since 1993, the exhibit has travelled around the nation to show everyone the history of African American baseball. The exhibit will be displayed in the Mabee Foundation Gallery at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center from Feb. 6 through April 20.

It will feature 90 photographs showcasing the history of the Negro Leagues from the late 1800s to the 1960s.

The hours for the event will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday.
