On Monday (February 5th), Buckingham Palace released a statement announcing that King Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer.
The statement added that he “remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty soon.”
The 75-year-old monarch underwent surgery last month for an enlarged prostate. Officials have not revealed what form of cancer the King has, but they have shared that it is not prostate cancer.
