Scheduled for release on May 3rd, the album draws inspiration from U.K. rave culture and features 11 songs. Explaining the concept behind the album, Lipa said, "It struck me – the idea of going through chaos gracefully and feeling like you can weather any storm." She also revealed her fascination with the music history of psychedelia, trip-hop, and Britpop, which influenced her recording sessions.
The album cover captures the essence of the title, with Lipa peacefully standing in the ocean while a shark swims nearby. Collaborating with various artists, including Caroline Ailin, Danny L. Harle, Tobias Jesso Jr., and Kevin Parker, Lipa dives into a more raw and youthful exploration of life experiences.
