Abortion rights organizations hosted at Olivia Rodrigo's "Guts" tour will no longer be allowed to distribute emergency contraceptives at her concerts. Rodrigo's team relayed that they no longer wanted free birth control pills, condoms, and lubrication to be handed out because children are present at the concerts. Several local abortion funds expressed disagreement with the decision, highlighting the importance of sexual health tools for young people.

Despite the prohibition on distributing Plan B, lubricant, and condoms, the abortion funds still plan to provide informational materials at the concerts. The backlash against the handouts was largely fueled by misinformation, with extremist groups purposely conflating emergency contraception with abortion pills. Despite the controversy, organizers appreciate Rodrigo's support for abortion funds and reproductive health organizations through her Fund 4 Good initiative.
