90th Annual Tri-State Music Festival to be Held May 4th-5th

The 90th annual Tri-State Music Festival will be held on Thursday, May 4th, and Friday, May 5th with the festival’s Grand Concert being held on Friday, May 5th at 7:00 pm. Other parts of the festival will be held throughout Enid during the 2-day period.

Originally the Tri-State Music Festival was known as Phillips Band Day and was founded in 1932 by Russell Wiley the Phillips University Band Director using bands from Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas. In 1933 the festival was renamed the Tri-State Band Festival before finally being named the Tri-State Music Festival.
