(Enid, OK) The Oklahoma State Department of Health announced Tuesday morning that beginning March 29th, the state will begin it’s Phase 4 of the COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan, meaning that all Oklahomans, ages 16 and older, will become eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.

OSDH Deputy Commissioner of Health Keith Reed made the announcement Tuesday morning during a press conference.

People in Phases 1, 2 and 3 are currently eligible to receive the vaccine. Phase 4 includes an estimated 500,000 people who will become eligible on Monday.

Deputy Commissioner Reed said Pfizer is approved for those 16 years old and older, so Oklahomans who meet the qualifications will become eligible on Monday.
