Cale Grauberger the president of National Veterans Flagpoles United spoke with Enidlive in an interview on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 13th. Grauberger says that as a part of his flag-planting ceremonies for veterans in Garber, a Black Hawk Helicopter will be setting up a static display.
The helicopter will be parked behind the Garber fire department, and onlookers will be free to touch or even sit in the helicopter. Having a helicopter has caused a lot of excitement in the town according to Grauberger, who said “speaking with city leaders they just think this is going to be such a cool event for Garber”.
Those who want to participate in the flag planting ceremonies for 3 Garber veterans can meet on the west side of the Garber Fire Department at 9:30 am on Saturday, July 16th. The helicopter will be landing at 10:00 am flying in from Tulsa.
After the landing, the organization and its volunteers will head to the 1st of 3 veteran’s houses in Garber where they will plant their 1st flag. 3 flag poles will be planted throughout the day in Garber.
