The City of Enid has announced a pair of road closures due to various infrastructure repairs happening around town.
A section of South 10th St. spanning from East Maine St. to East Cherokee St. will be closed from Thursday, Jan. 11 to Friday, Feb. 23 to allow contractors to complete the third stage of concrete work in the area.
Additionally, the eastbound lane of Chestnut Ave. from Wheatridge Rd. to Garland Rd. will be closed due to waterline reconstruction for the Kaw Lake Water Supply Project. That closure will last from Monday, Jan. 15 to Monday, Feb. 5.
Motorists are encouraged to follow posted traffic control signs and to drive with caution in both areas during the construction efforts.
