The City of Enid announced on Thursday that several upcoming road closures would be enforced to allow for maintenance going on across town.
The first road closure will take place take place on South Grand Ave. from East Nagel Ave. to East Moore Ave. Meanwhile, the second closure will be on East Moore Ave. from South Grand Ave. to South Baker St. Both of these closures are being enforced to allow crews to work on mill and rock reconstruction.
Those two closures are expected to last from Thursday, Sept. 19 to this Friday, Sept. 20. The City of Enid Street Department is also asking residents in the area to find alternative parking, as there will be no access to residential driveways.
Additionally, a third closure has also been announced for Moore Ave. from South Monroe St. to South Madison St. This closure is being enforced to allow crews to work on waterline installation.
That closure is expected to last from Monday, Sept. 23 to Monday, October 7.
The timeframes for all closures are subject to change due to inclement weather.
