City of Enid Study Session to Discuss Suddenlink Renewal, Kaw Lake Project, Regular Meeting to Follow

The City of Enid Commissioner board will be holding another Study Session and Regular Meeting on August 15th at the Council Chambers of the City Administration Building at 5:00 PM. Some events of discussion for the study session include The Kaw Lake water supply program update, an update on the Suddenlink franchise renewal, an update on the Eisenhower bridge closure, and an update on renaming a portion of Johnson Street after Lydell Carr. After the study session is adjourned, a regular meeting will occur.

A few main points that will transpire include: awarding a contract to Luckinbill Development for project No. R-2308C – South 54th Street reconstruction, in the amount of $1,077,443.00; Accepting Project No. M-2221 – Fire Station No. 1 room replacement as fully completed by the contractor, Bloyer, and Sons Inc.; And the approval of claims in the amount of $4,670,599.01.

More items of note include the Enid Public Transportation Authority regular meeting; The approval of the purchase of a 41-foot Live Bottom Trailer from Etnyre International, Oregon, Illinois, in the amount of $115,713.00; Awarding the purchase of Crusher Run Rock to Dolese Bros. through February 15, 2024; And another approval of claims in the amount of $229,065.14.
