The City of Enid released this press release regarding the upcoming Independence Day Holiday:
City of Enid officials announced today the City Administration offices will be closed in observance of the July 4th holiday. The Enid Public library, Airport, Enid Public Transportation, the recycle center and landfill will be closed to observe the 2019 Independence Day.
According to Solid Waste officials, no trash routes will run on July 4; however, Thursday’s route will be picked up on Monday, July 8th. During the week of July 8th, yard waste containers will be collected along with regular trash.
City officials are reminding residents both splash pads will be operating on July 4th from 10 am to 8 pm; however, the swimming pool will be closed. For those wanting to play golf on Independence Day, the Meadowlake Golf Course will be open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
