(Enid, OK) Enid’s Community Development Block Grant Funding Commission will allow city residents to give their input while they plan to distribute the funds.
For the 2021-22 year, the city was allocated almost half a million dollars, $469,150, in funds from the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Through the city’s Consolidated Plan, CDBG funds must benefit low and moderate-income residents or neighborhoods. A limited amount of funds may be allocated to eliminate blight in selected areas.
The public hearing is set for Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the commission chambers of the city administration building at 401 W. Garriott Rd.
