The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has announced a lane closure on US-81 to allow contractors to rehabilitate the roadway.
The closure will last from May 1 to November 1 and span from the Veterans Memorial Overpass Bridge to State Highway 45. The closure will allow contractors to repair the concrete panels, the pavement, dowel retrofitting, and diamond grind segments of the road.
Motorists are encouraged to follow posted traffic control signs and to drive with extreme caution in this area during the construction.
