On Friday, June 16th, the Enid community gathered at Van Buren St to cruise up and down Van Buren just like the good old days. Several people sat in lawn chairs on sidewalks on both sides of the street while drivers cruised down the roads.
People cruised in everyday cars and special cars you may only see at a car show, along with motorcyclists. Drivers went up and down the road waving at spectators just like it was the 70’s again. On Saturday a car show was held at 4 pm and a 2nd cruise was held on Saturday night.
