A fatal collision occurred on US-287 on September 6th involving the driver of a GMC Savana and a Volvo semi-truck. The crash happened at 4:08 am, and was approximately 14 miles north of Boise City, OK. The semi was stationary at a construction zone lane when the GMC driver failed to yield for stopped traffic and crashed into the semi. The crash took the life of the GMC driver, whilst the semi-driver was uninjured. The condition of the deceased driver was apparently sleepy before the crash.
The crash was investigated by Trooper Maravilla #483 and assisted by Trooper Brown #431.
