Congratulations to ERDA’s Board Chair, Matt Parrish on being recipient of “55 over 55 Inspiring Oklahomans” award!
Matt Parrish, third generation President and CEO of Parrish Enterprises, Ltd., dba “PT,” was nominated and recognized for the “55 Over 55 Inspiring Oklahomans” annual award.
Fifty-five successful Oklahomans are selected each year as those who continue to make a difference and impact the quality of life for many Oklahomans in the areas of agriculture, aviation, education, engineering, finance, foundations, government, healthcare, law, manufacturing, non-profit organizations, public service, sports, technology, the arts and so much more.
“It is an honor to be considered as one of Oklahoma’s ‘55 Over 55’ recipients,” Parrish said. “I am earnestly grateful for the recognition for my work and community service. In addition, I’m thankful to be mentioned in the same company as so many deserving Oklahoma Leaders.”
“Since I grew up in Enid, Oklahoma and have had a great career in my family’s business, it makes sense to give back my time and to continue to impact the community positively. It would not be possible for a third generation of leadership of a family organization, without the help of our team members, our customers, and the community of Enid.
I would also like to thank James R. Parrish, my father, for giving me the opportunity to work and grow in our company. I am also grateful for the support of my wife Robin, without her support none of this would be possible.”
Parrish’s team includes over 300 team members where they manufacture quick connect/disconnect couplings, sleeves, ferrules, tank truck parts, Punch-Lok® clamps and banding, and more.
Parrish actively serves on the Enid Regional Development Alliance (ERDA) as the Board Chair; he is also a member of St. Mary’s Hospital Board of Governors and the Enid Chamber of Commerce. Parrish previously has served on various boards such as The Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution (NAHAD), Garfield County Boy Scout Council, United Way, March of Dimes, and Enid Tennis Association.
Matt and his wife, Robin, reside in Enid and have five children Joshua Hoey, Emily Reyes, Eli and Evan Parrish.
2022 was the first chapter of the 55 Over 55 annual Award Recognition Program and produced in a partnership with the very successful NextGen Under 30 Award Recognition Program Celebrating its 12th Year Anniversary.
