Enid Police Arrest 1 Adult, 10 Juveniles on Drug and Weapon Charges

The Enid Police Department conducted four search warrants which led to the arrest of one adult and 10 juveniles who were related to multiple incidents of reckless conduct with firearms.

It began when three male juvenile suspects, ages 14 to 16, were discovered to be connected to the incidents dating back to October. The three suspects are self-proclaimed gang members.

The investigators obtained warrants for their arrests on complaints of a minor in possession of a firearm. The EPD executed three warrants at Enid residences on the 1100 block of Ramona, 1200 block of N. 15th Street and the 1500 block of N. Adams.

A fourth warrant was executed on Jan. 26 at the Ramada by Wyndham at 3005 W. Garriot where the three male juveniles were arrested along with eight others. The first three juveniles were arrested on two additional complaints of minor in possession of a firearm, three counts of reckless conduct with a firearm, possession of marijuana, and visiting a disorderly house. One male juvenile was also charged with assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.

The remaining seven juveniles, whose ages varied from 14 to 17, were arrested and booked in the Community Intervention Center at the EPD and were later released to a parent or guardian. The total was tallied to four males and three females; one of the seven was charged with attempting to escape in custody.

Alejandro Rojo, 21, was also arrested at the motel with the juveniles on complaints of contributing to the delinquency of minors and maintaining a disorderly house.

Evidence recovered included eight firearms, various ammunition, gun parts and accessories, marijuana and liquor.
