Enid Resident Arrested on More Than of 20 Counts of Molestation & Child Pornography

(Enid, OK) The Enid Police Department Internet Crime Against Children detectives arrested an Enid man on Wednesday on more than 20 counts of manufacturing, possessing and distributing child pornography and lewd molestation.

40-year-old Jason Wallis is facing 18 counts of lewd molestation, complaints of possession of child pornography, six counts of manufacturing child pornography, six counts of distribution of child pornography, a count of rape by instrumentation and a count of violating Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

An investigation by the EPD, led Sgt. Aaron Barber, who contacted Wallis for an interview.

During the interview on Wednesday Jan. 6th, Wallis confessed to uploading an inappropriate image to Tumblr and later showed Sgt. Barber multiple images of lewd photos of children he had on his cellphone, according to a release from police. Also in the interview, Wallis admitted to manufacturing, possessing, distributing child pornography, of both still images and videos.

Wallis also confessed to the abuse of three children, ranging from 7 months old to 5 years old, according to the release from the EPD. He told Sgt. Barber he targeted those ages 10 to 12 when viewing child pornography but also viewed images with children ages 4 to 7.

The investigation into Wallis is ongoing and police say they believe further arrests could be made.
