Enid Ward 2 Challenger Doug Boyle Talks Election Bid

On Friday, March 31st, the challenger for the Ward 2 Commissioner’s seat Doug Boyle spoke with Enidlive about his upcoming election bid for the Ward 2 seat. During the interview, Boyle spoke about his reasons for running including his desire to protect the constitutional rights of the citizens of Enid.

Boyle is a veteran and serves as an elder in a local church. Boyle desires to see a larger portion of the city budget to be spent on infrastructure and he also wants to see the Kaw Lake Water Supply Project finish on time and on budget.

Also mentioned during the interview were Boyle’s support of youth sports, campaign strategy, and reaction to February’s close election night. The runoff election will occur on Tuesday, April 4th from 7 am to 7 pm.
