At last night’s Enid City Council meeting the city council approved 3 different construction projects for Forgotten Ministries to go forward. Those projects are a tiny home village, a men’s facility, and a rope course. The projects were recommended for approval by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission that Forgotten Ministries presented their proposal to in early March.

During the public comment section of the meeting Melissa Crabtree, a member of the community voiced her support for Forgotten Ministries and for the projects. Forgotten Ministries would utilize the projects upon completion in the following ways.

The ropes course would primarily be used for Forgotten Ministry’s children’s program. While the tiny home village would be used for the elderly as part of a program that would give the elderly activities to keep them occupied like gardening. As for the men’s facility, that would be used for men involved in forgotten ministries prison ministry.
