On Tuesday, March 29th at a house on W Rush Avenue there was a grass fire that spread and burnt the vinyl on the side of the house. An Enid Police Officer was the 1st to arrive on the scene, and they were using a fire extinguisher to put out the grass fire.

Next to arrive was the Enid Fire Department who finished putting out the fires. The fire did not reach the interior of the home. A grass fire in a neighboring home was caused by the embers of a smoldering potted plant that the wind reignited, causing a grass fire in the backyard.
