Gaslight Theatre of Enid will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary of the State’s longest Running Free Shakespeare in the Park. This event is to celebrate Oklahoma’s longest-running free Shakespeare in Park, in which Gaslight Theatre will be presenting its show Hamlet at 8 pm on September 15th, 16th, and 17th at Government Springs Park 600 E Owen K Garriot Road in Enid.

The anniversary has obtained recognition from the State of Oklahoma and also from the City of Enid.

“Oklahoma State Representative Chad Caldwell was instrumental in securing citations from the State of Oklahoma and the Office of the Governor to celebrate our 30th anniversary,” said Gaslight Theatre Board of Directors President Frank Baker. “We can’t thank him enough for his support of Gaslight and the arts in Enid.”

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnic blankets, long chairs, coolers, and food to get the full park experience.
