State Reports Almost 4k New COVID-19 Cases, Sees 14 More Deaths

(Enid, OK) The Oklahoma State Department of Health reported 3,885 new COVID-19 cases and 14 additional deaths on Monday.

2,775 deaths were reported, by the OSDH, in which the virus was the cause or a contributing factor.

Of the 14 deaths, 11 were in the 65 and older age group including three Oklahoma County men, two Tulsa County women, one woman and one man in Stephens County, one man and one woman in Cleveland County, one Pushmataha County man and one Logan County woman. The other three deaths were two women and one man in the 50-64 age group from Oklahoma County.

Garfield County’s COVID-19 cases increased by 58 on Monday for a total of 6,058 since the pandemic began, with 613 active cases.

Other county case increases in Northwest Oklahoma included 47 in Woodward, 16 in Blaine, 15 in Kingfisher, seven in Major, four each in Noble and Grant, two in Woods, one in Alfalfa.
