The 44th Annual AKA Convention starts on Monday, October 9th, and will have a couple of events that will happen within the week. The opening reception is from 4 pm to 7 pm in the Grand Ballroom at the Stride Bank Center.
Starting Tuesday, October 10th, the Mass Ascension will occur. This is when they will release a bunch of kites at once. It will last from October 10 at 1:00 pm to Saturday, October 14 at 2:00 pm.
The Kite Flying on the Field with the “Professionals” starts on Tuesday, October 10 at 2:00 pm and ends on Sunday, October 15 at 5:00 pm. Food trucks will be on-site every day.
