Roy Nelson McNaught, Jr., 90 died Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. Roy was born June 24, 1934, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to Roy Nelson McNaught, Sr. and Alice (Perdue) McNaught. He attended Kingfisher Schools and excelled in music as an accomplished trumpet player.

Janice Wheatley Dosier, age 98, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025 at her home, Baptist Village of Enid.
She was born in Ranger, Texas on February 21, 1927, to John L. and Mary Henry Wheatley.

Linda Lea Cain, 69, Tonkawa resident, was born on January 30, 1956 in Chickasha, Oklahoma and passed away on March 13, 2025 in Oklahoma City.

Mrs. Brenda Kay Friesen, age 56, passed away Wednesday evening, March 19, 2025, at her residence in Enid, OK. She was born May 31, 1968, in Kingsburg, CA, to Viola Mae Truitt and the late Robert Maxwell Truitt. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Robert Truitt; one brother: Robert Truitt; two unborn children; and two unborn grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Russ Rains, age 48, of Ringwood, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, March 21, 2025, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, on Thursday, March 20th at the funeral home.

Robert LeRoy Smetana was born in Anthony, Kansas on August 3, 1934, to Joseph L. and Amelia E. (Berka) Smetana. He grew up on the Smetana family homestead that Robert’s grandparents had claimed during the Cherokee Strip Land Run in September, 1893. He attended Medford Public Schools, graduating in 1952.
