Drummond Slow Pitch Softball Coach Cody Hooper Talks Making it to State
Drummond Slow Pitch Softball Coach Cody Hooper spoke with CTB Sports about his team’s run to the State Tournament. The Lady Bulldogs are 20-4 on the season and have several marquee wins over ranked teams, including some teams in higher classes.
They’ve defeated Enid, Chisholm, Waukomis, and Arnett, amongst other ranked schools. Coach Hooper spoke about how the return of Kate Mann, Kendra Dillingham helped his team. He also spoke about how the tough schedule was intentional and how he believes it will prep his team for playoffs. Drummond plays Rock Creek Wednesday May 1st at 8:30 am at USA HOF Stadium.
