Arizona suffered their first loss of the season to kick off the week. It was bound to happen eventually, but for Green Bay to be able to go into Arizona on a short week prepared for the well-rounded attack led by Kyler Murray was incredibly impressive. Not to mention, Aaron Rodgers was without several weapons on offense, including what may be the best receiver in the NFL, Devante Adams.

The NFC has the best 5 teams in the NFL. I think this can be said without going out on much of a limb, too. Dallas was missing their franchise quarterback and went on the road in primetime to beat a Vikings team that had momentum. I know it was Kirk Cousins in primetime, but wasn’t it expected for Minnesota to take care of business against a dude named Cooper Rush?

The Bengals fell for the trap game, the Titans didn’t. Of course, the Derrick Henry injury will change Tennessee’s offense tremendously. Yet, Ryan Tannehill has been more than just serviceable in his time with the Titans. For Cincinnati, I was more concerned with their defensive performance than any faults of Joe Burrow’s offense. Allowing 405 passing yards to Mike White is inexcusable, and can’t be all chalked up to a letdown from a big win the week prior. If the Titans played the Bengals on a neutral field today, I’m taking Tennessee.

Looking ahead to NFL Sunday Week 9, we are going to be in for a treat! the 12 PM window is headlined by Browns-Bengals, the 3 PM window is headlined by Packers-Chiefs, and we cap off the day with SNF featuring the Titans at the Rams. These are all matchups that could shake up the rankings!
