ENID – The City of Enid street officials announced today the extension of the closure on West Chestnut Avenue beginning ¾ mile west of North Wheatridge Road to North Imo Road. (The original May 31st press release projected the closure for two weeks.)
According to officials, this closure is due to wash out from recent heavy rainfalls. Traffic control devices are in place for the public’s protection.
The area could remain closed for several more weeks. Motorists are reminded to drive with caution in this area.
