(Enid, OK) An Enid resident was charged with one count of lewd and indecent acts to a child under 12 years of age.
EPD Detective Randy Wilson arrested 35-year-old Jesse Lee Rose following an investigation that began after they were notified in February regarding the sexual abuse of a 10-year-old girl last May, according to the Enid Police Department.
The girl is not an Enid resident, but disclosed the sexual abuse that happened in Enid to a counselor, who then reported it to Oklahoma Department of Human services.
After the initial investigation, Rose told Wilson in an interview that he did not recall the incident but was too drunk to remember.
The EPD obtained a warrant and Rose was arrested for the complaint. Rose was booked into Garfield County Detention Facility, where he is being held without bond, and was charged Thursday in Garfield County District Court, according to the EPD.
