The goal for this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s is to raise $50,000 and everyone who raises at least 100$ will receive a free t-shirt. As of  Thursday, Oct 6th, the walk has raised $28,795. Nelson spoke about where the money that is raised goes saying that ” a lot of the money also goes to research and I know they have done a lot towards helping to fight this disease, there is no cure but they are really hoping to have one, one day”.
