Early Thursday morning at 12:56 am Samantha Howell age 27 of Enid was involved in a fatal collision after hitting a pole with her Honda Civic. Witnesses state that Howell was driving Southbound on North Van Buren between Oak and Pine when she struck the curb multiple times before driving over the median and hitting a pole.
A witness also stated that Howell had been drinking alcohol at a residence prior to the collision.
