The Enid Amateur Radio Club’s Enid Hamfest is almost set to return for 2025!
Slated for Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center, the event will run from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. and invites participants to explore the world of ham radio—learning the ins and outs and even applying to become a licensed amateur radio operator.
Admission for the event will be $10 at the door.
Amateur radio—otherwise known as “ham radio”—is a community hobby and service that connects people, electronics, and communication. Enthusiasts use ham radio to talk across town, around the world, and even into space—all without the internet or cell phones.
