In this interview, CTB Sports Director Derek Darr sat down with Seiling Head Football Coach Gary Manuel to discuss the upcoming matchup against OBA.
Coach Manuel started off by discussing Seiling’s team and what to expect:
“It’s always a physical game. Coach Cayot does a great job, he’ll have a great. I expect him to spread us out and throw the football on us a little bit, and get a little double tight and run the ball because we struggled at some things last week in the spread versus the passing game. So I think hopefully we got some of those things fixed this week, but I imagine we’ll see a lot of that.”
The coach expanded on the Trojans’ offense and what they bring to the table:
“They’ve got a lot of good young players, a lot of firepower. We’re out to do a good job of [containing] the quarterback. We got to do a really good job in the secondary of keeping those guys in front of us and make sure we’re ready for the crossing routes and those things.”
