The Hospice Circle of Love is opening its Fall Book Sale to give people a chance to get affordable books while funding a good cause!

Open from Oct. 17-18, the sale will have several thousand books, including both hardback and paperback.

EnidLIVE!’s Derek Darr sat down with Julie Nelson from Hospice Circle of Love to discuss the sale and provide would-be customers with necessary information.

Nelson began by outlining the history of the event.

“On the 17th, it will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on the 18th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We sell our hardbacks for just two dollars, paperbacks for a dollar and everything is organized by genre…we’ve been doing it forever…over 30 years, and it’s been a great fundraiser for us.”

Nelson continued talking about the types of books and genres to expect at the event.

“We have a lot of mysteries, so if you like to read mysteries, that is a great place to pick up something that’s pretty new for [a low price]. We have a lot of fiction novels, children’s books, westerns, sci-fi and our non-fiction is broken up into several different categories. We have a history section and a biography section, a how-to section and on and on and on.”
