EnidLIVE’s Colby Talley sat down with Enid Football Head Coach Brad Cornelsen to discuss the upcoming matchup with Norman.
The coach started off by piecing together the Norman team, giving a general overview:
“Yeah, they’re a good-looking team. Started out 4-0, ran into Jenks last week. But [a] good looking team, good schemes, well coached, good athletes, no real weak spots; so it’ll be a big challenge for us.”
Coach Cornelsen shared his message to the team after the previous matchups:
“It’s tough, you know, we’re banged up, thin, even more as the season continues to go here. You’ve got young guys playing, guys that are moving up with opportunities because of that. But the message to the team has been the same from the beginning: we’ve got to concentrate on us and worry about what we can control. We’ve got to try to be the best that we can be….”
